19 MARTHA ARTHA ENSIGN CALLED CALLE TI BY DEATH mrs airs martha W ensign wife of afar tin L ensign died at the family leoine hoisie in logan tuesday evening at about seven after a lingering illness with cancer A little over a year ago mrs ensign underwent an operation tor for her affliction and for a time she rallied and was much improved in health later on oil the trouble again developed constantly becoming more aggravated until her suT ering was ended by death she has been a patient sufferer and displayed a cheer till fill and hopeful spirit through it all mrs airs ensign is a daughter ot of the laie judge and mrs airs jonathan C wright and was born in this city july fth 1865 she grew to young womanhood here and tor for sonic some years acted in the capacity ot of a school teacher quite a number ot of the men and women of 0 this his community lovingly greeted mrs airs ensign insign with the address of teacher when meeting her upon the streets she was also a member of 0 the tabernacle choir for a number of years ears and worked faithfully in tile the auxiliary or of the church mr air and mrs airs ensign were married january 15 1888 and from this unton union eight children were born for sonic some years they resided in this city then berno removed ved to Col collingston collinston Colllns linston ton where they lived a considerable length ot of time then returning here to make their home the family removed to logan last july where they now reside surviving vivin gare are tho the husband and the foll follow ing children mrs eunice B E nelson ot of sandy al R ensign of fayetteville arkansas esta W ot of chicago ills ilia 11 II D ensign of 0 clarks charlis ville arkansas geneva ensign mai ton ensign and J C ensign ot of logan there are also the following brothers and sisters dr ellas elias wright salt lake mrs ellza eliza childs clinton n R mi 1 wright of this rity city and mrs lucy W snow detroit michigan brigham wright and rachael evans of brigham city edward H and jonathan wright of ogden lehi wright ot of le grande oregon funeral services will be held at the fourth ward chapel sunday afternoon commencing at 2 oclo cli the remains may be reviewed at tile the family residence east ath north logan on friday until 4 p m and ai at the home of n R al wright at brbgham nn nil saturday and until the funeral sunday
