Letters ore welcome 433-693- m Maivtooic IB Eureka United Methodist Church met Sunday, June 20, for a Sunday Celebration of Spirit and Faith and a day to bid farewell to Pastor Michael Heart, who gave his last sermon as pastor of Eureka United Methodist Services began with the celebration mediation and life of the community and welcome. Cascade Springs to get repairs A favorite destination in the Uinta National Forest may be getting some much needed repairs. Forest Service officials are proposing replacement of the boardwalk and associated footings at Cascade Springs Interpretive Site. in the 4-- H park fun craft project Join us for our final 4-- H in the park on Wednesday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Eureka city park. We will be making a fun craft project Interested youth that have completed the 3rd grade up thru 12th grade may sign up by calling the Juab County Extension Office, 623-345- 0. 4-- H Sport Fishing project in park The 4-Sport Fishing project will be held in the Eureka City Park on H Wednesday, June 30, at 2 p.m. Interested youth who have completed third grade through 12th grade may sign-u- p by calling the Juab County Extension office at 623-345- 0. This program is sponsored the USU by Extension Service, Juab County, and will cover a number of items including state rules and regulations, types of rods and reels, basic fishing equipment, knot tying, fish identification, bait fishing and out, door practicing. - The concrete footings for Cascade Springs Interpretive Site boardwalk were installed in the early 1960s. They are beginning to show sings of deterioration and the primary purpose for this project is to replace them. In order to access the footings for replacement, the boardwalk must be removed. Once the footings are replaced, a new be would boardwalk installed. The work would be completed by a contractor under Forest Service supervision. Work would include the existing removing boardwalk to provide access to the footings and replacing the existing concrete and natural stone footings in about the same locations. The contractor would be required to do all the concrete mixing and cutting in the parking lot. Hauling and construction equipment operating on the boardwalk, paths and bridges would be limited to the rubber-tire- d hand-operat- ed wheelbarrows. Local soldier information wanted There is a wonderful wall that Mary Lou Draper put together to honor our local soldiers that are currently serving. It is located in V & J's Gas and Groceries.
