I have seen larger colleges whose movies can’t even come up to par with what we have had here So why change a good thing? ' The Movie Committee has taken polls on and off campus to find out our wants By doing this I think Page 5 Frank Coats and I urge every other student who feels that this is his university to do the same Lets keep the STAB movie committee like it is In the hands of the students Tim Kindred 528-90-93- o And more movies Aggie lagoon day featuring Stoneground The weatherman has promised that Aggie Lagoon Day tomorrow will be a beautiful day and Aggies will have the chance to respond as “It’s a Beautiful Day” reserrects itself to play in the Davis County Pavilion David Laflamme violinist vocalist and writer Mitchell Holman bass and Hal Wagenet on lead guitar from the original group will be playing in a dance-concethat night with Stoneground beginning at 8:30 pm Logan restrictions prevent the group from adopting the “Beautiful Day” label Stoneground if you remember is that Bay Area group that played at USU last fall that has canabalized members from Hot Tuna Elvin Bishop and Beautiful Day They were popular in their last appearance but a shot in the arm from Laflamme should really help to get things boogieing at “the fun spot of Utah” Salt Lake City-bor- n and USU educated Laflamme was the writer of Beautiful Day’s material He is probably best remembered for the cuts “White Bird” and “Hot Summer Day” rt We the undersigned urge the Executive Council to vote to keep the' movie committee and not allow it to be dissolved: Craig Anderson (518-62-193- 1) Mike Larsen (217-58-143- 9) Douglas R Stannard (146-46-881- pleased the of Would students majority 8) they’ve G D take the time out of their other responsibilities to do this? Isn’t it better to have a small representative movie committee that can devote all its time and efforts in pleasing us than to have a bureaucracy dictating to us what we will get?
