Show f flREfl OBITUARIES j Mary J eanette Brown Crofts Burgess CIRCLEVILLE, Utah Funeral Fun-eral services were held Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 at the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel for Mary Jeanette Brown Crofts Burgess. Officiating was Bishop Michael Mich-ael Dalton. The family prayer was offered by Georgia Bentley. and postlude music was by Martha Mar-tha Veater. The invocation was offered by ; Arlene Watkins, followed by a ! musical selection by Terecea Westwood, "The Green, Green Grass of Home," accompanied by Martha Veater. Speaking was Scott Bentley, with remarks by Bishop Dalton and a musical selection by Than PANGUITCH Freeda Sevy Woodard, age 77, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998 at the St. George Care Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1921 in Panguitch, Utah, a daughter of Peter Ray and Mayall Lister Sevy. She married Dawson Cooper Woodard in Pioche, Nev. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada LDS Temple, he died in July of 1970. Freeda was reared and educated in Panguitch. She lived mostly in Kellogg, Ida., before moving to Hurricane, Utah, with her daughter in 1989. She was an active member of the LDS Church all of her life, serving in many capacities in the church. Freeda enjoyed camping and fishing, and doing crafts, crocheting cro-cheting and cooking. She loved traveling. Surviving family include three children, Dell (wife, Joan) Draper of Centerfield, Utah; Ruth (husband, (hus-band, Steven) Hinton of Hurricane; Hurri-cane; and Wilma (husband Raymond) Ray-mond) Robertson of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Jim (Oma) Sevy of Kellogg, Kel-logg, Ida.; Ira Sevy of Escalante, Utah; Keith (Lori) Sevy of Ventura, Ven-tura, Calif; Kenneth (Jackie) Sevy of Kellogg; and Max (Loa) ' Roma Evelyn Francisco Evans Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31 in Hatch at 11 a.m. at the Hatch LDS Ward Chapel Cha-pel for Roma Evelyn Francisco, age 70, who died Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Friends may call prior to services between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Hatch Cemetery. and Jimmy Cooper, "If Tomorrow Never Comes." The benediction was offered by Carole Gardner. Pallbearers were Hartman Daniels, Gregory Woolley, Wayne Tunheim, Mark Tunheim, Chad Tunheim, and Brett Daniels. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Crofts, . Clinton "Butch" Crofts, Shawn Chastain, Ernie Englestead, Jack Fazio, John Barnson, and Jim Daffer. Compassionate services were by the Circleville 1st Ward Relief Society sisters. She was preceded in death by a son, Louis Karakis and two sisters, Bonny Ray and Alta Sevy, and a brother, Pat Sevy. Graveside Services were held Friday 4 Oct. 23, 1998 at the Panguitch Pan-guitch Cemetery under the direction direc-tion of Spilsbury and Beard Mortuary Mor-tuary in St. George. |
