In July of 1973, Day's Market opened a 11,000 square foot store, just behind the old Exchange building. In 1979, and in 1986 the store was remodeled, and enlarged by 3.000 square feet for each remodel. Randy has been with Day's for 12 years, and he and his family reside in Heber City. Joe Wynn is the Frozen Foods Manager, and is a Store Supervisor. He has returned to the grocery busi- Danger. Vida has been involved in the grocery business on and off since 1970s. Vida and her family reside in Center Creek. Jared Wright is the Freight supervisor, and a night manager. Gerald's four sons Byron, Alan, Steve, and Carl bought the rights of the Heber operation, and will continue to operate it as Day's Market. The store is 43,000 square feet. It features a nostalgic farmers market environment that includes an authentic cider mill and thematic decor. About 13 of the store is devoted to a food court featuring fresh produce, deli, bakery, bulk foods general merchandise and floral departments. An open ceiling, period decor and special lighting create a farmers market-lik- e atmosphere. The remainder of the store is constructed with a drop ceiling, conventional shelving and soft fluorescent light- - Slcve Day is a Vice President and SecretaryTreasurer of both companies, manages the Provo Store, and splits time with the Heber store. He and his family reside in Provo. Carl Day is a Vice President of both companies, and General Merchandise Manager of the Heber Store. He and his wife reside in Heber City. The owners of Days Market feels they have some of the finest department managers in the industry. Vern Staker is the Meat Manager, and has had 20 years of Meat experience. Vern left a major chain store two years ago to move Luwana Phillips is a Night She has been with the store since 1993. She resides in Supervisor. Wallsburg. Brent Titcomb is a night supervisor, he has been with Day's for 18 years, part time for the past three. Brent and his Wife reside in Heber City. Keven Leatham, and Evelyn Muir in the Meat Department, and Joyce Lee, a cashier, have been with Days for 26 years. Elaine Hunsaker works in the corporate office as a secretary.
