LEHI'S WIDELY READ LEHI CITY, UTAH, VOLUME VI PARETS-TEACHER- MISSIONARY WELCOME SECOND WARD j The Lehi Second Ward Missionary Committee are arranging a welcome home party for Markland" Allred to be held Sunday evening and a dance on Tuesu'av evening. The program Sunday evening is not complete at this date but musical numbers will be furnished by the Russon sisters and Markland Allred will be the speaker. This meeting will be held in the ward chapel, Sunday evening at 7:30. A dancing party will be held" in the Second Ward Amusement hall immediately following the M. I. A- meeting, Tuesday evening. Elmo Gray is in charge of arrangements and promises a social good time honoring Elder Allred. Voluntary contributions will be accepted at the door for missonary benefit Everyone is invited to join the Second Warders in welcoming home Elder Allred from a two years successful California mission. Music will be furnished by Mrs. Fern orchestra. - Lar-een- 's EARL BANKS RECEIVES MISSION GALL Earl Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks received a call for an L. D. S. Mission to the New England States. He will leave for the (Mission Home on November 15, and will ,go to the mission field on December 2. Elder Banks is a graduate of the Lehi High School and is a senior at the Brigham Young University, this year. He has been an active ward worker in the Lehi First Ward. He is employed in 'Salt Lake City at the carpenter trade. The New England Mission is a new mission recently established and will be presided over by Dr. Carl Eyiring, one of the faculty lof the Brigham Yourtg University, "with mission headquarters at Cambridge, Mass. LEHI RESIDENTS INJURED IN ACCIDENT auto collision at 33rd South street in Salt Lake City Sunday evening. Mr. Colledge driving a Ford truck stopped for a red light when a car driven by Mr. MLko, struck the rear of the truck. Mrs. Colledge was treat ed at a Salt Lake Hospital for shock and bruises and is still confined to her bed at the family residence. Mr. An.' dreason is suffering from an injured shoulder and bruises, Mr. Colledge escaped with bruises. The accident happend near 10:30 p. m. as they were returning home from Salt Lake. Ernest Clayton, district was present and explainted the adult educational program. While the Alpine district has set apart a sum for adult classes there is a possibility of a W. P. A. grant that would enable the adult classes to be carried on for the major portion of the year. The district funds would only take care of about three months instruction for .
