Immunization clinic An immunization clinic will be held at the Public Health Department, 467 Main Street, on March 31 from noon to 8 p.m. Rugby practice begins The Park City Rugby Football Club begins spring practice this Tuesday, March 24 at the high school. Practice will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the gym, and activities will concentrate concen-trate on flexability, strength, fitness and ball handling. The team is looking for men of any shape or size who enjoy team sports and don't mind physical contact. Due to the nature of the game and the ambitious schedule, all of this season's participants par-ticipants will be required to meet or exceed certain levels of readiness in all four of these areas. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Mucker's is urged to attend this Tuesday and Thursday and every following Tuesday and Thursday to become more acquainted with their bodies and the ball. Members old and new must realize that a certain amount of time must be devoted to training in order to meet the requirements of the sport. Radio show on adolescent sexuality Nearly half of the nation's 15-to-19-year-old girls have had premarital sex, accounting for one million teenage pregnancies pregnan-cies annually. Venereal disease is increasing among adolescents, accounting for 25 of the one million reported gonorrhea cases every year. Teenagers account for V3 of all abortions in the United States. Community clinic Attention contractors: Ron Ivie, Building Official for Park City, will be conducting an "Introduction to Building Codes" seminar. The course is a nine-week program covering the 1979 Uniform Building Codes and will begin March 31 and continue each Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., with the final class ending May 26 at the Marsac School meeting room. The seminar is free to all those wishing to attend. However, you will be required to bring with you a 1979 Uniform Building Code Book, pad and pencil for notes. Pre-registration Pre-registration is not required. Science fair Tuesday, March 24, the high school is hosting its second annual an-nual Science Fair. More than one hundred students will be competing in two principal areas: biological science and physical science. The fair will be open to the public from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the awards ceremony scheduled for 7 p.m. Many of the students have put a goodly amount of time, effort and imagination into their projects. Warning exercise The first 1981 Regional Attact Warning Exercise (WARNEX 81-1) will be held on March 25 at 9:35 a.m. This exercise will consist of only the attack warning portion, activated by the National Warning Center in NORAD Headquarters, Colorado Springs, Colo. The purpose of the exercise is to test the warning war-ning capability in all FEMA Region VIII States, including Summit County Warning Plan and alerting procedures. The public should be aware that this will only be an exercise. exer-cise. When the attack warning signal is sounded, there will be a 3-to-5 minute wavering sound on the siren or a series of short blasts. The attack warning signal means that an actual enemy attack against the United States has been detected, and that protective action should be taken immediately. The warning on March 25 is a practice exercise. You should review with your family what steps you would take if it was an actual attack. A citizens handbook on emergencies is available at the Courthouse in Coalville. Specific questions can be answered by calling the County Offices of Emergency Affairs 336-2334. Behavior management workshop The Summit Co. D.D.I. Parent Program . is sponsoring a workshop on "Behavior Management." Karen McCoy, MSW, D.D.I. , Salt Lake and Ann Gryner, OTR, D.D.I., Salt Lake will be the speakers. The workshop will be held Fridays, March 20, 27 and April 3, 10 from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Park City Preschool at the lower level of Marsac Elementary School. To pre-register, call 649-4204. Metro changes v .... Effective immediately, Park City's Mt. Metro will cut back its regularly scheduled bus service. Buses will leave the top of Main Street, going to the resort on the hour, 20 min. after, and 40 min. after each hour, until 10 a.m. Then it will go city wide only going to the resort. It will leave Prospector Square 16 min. after, 36 min. after, and 56 min. after each hour for Main Street and the resort. It will leave the Racquet Club at 1 min. after, 21 min. after, and 41 min. after each hour for Main Street and the resort. It will leave The Yarrow 12 min. after, 32 min. after, and 52 min. after each hour. All buses go to Main Street and will be operating on a city-wide basis throughout the remainder of the winter season. The night service for Sunday and Monday has been shortened to 10 p.m. The bus will leave the top of Main Street outbound at 10 p.m. on those nights only. Tuesday through Thursday 12 p.m., Friday and Saturday nights 12 : 30 p.m. Recipe book coming The Park City Women are publishing a Park City Cookbook. We need ideas and recipes from Park City residents. If you have a favorite recipe (or several) that you would like included, in-cluded, please send it to Park City Women, P.O. Box 2161. Here's to good cooking. Pay now or pay later The Park City Water Department will shut off water to users who are two or more months delinquent in paying their water bills. In order to get water reconnected there will be a charge of $25, in addition to the payment of the past due account. Adequate notice of water shut-offs is provided to each delinquent user. Water bills include a clearly-marked notice of when service will be terminated unless payment is received, and homes and commercial establishments are posted with a warning of when the water will be shut off. In order to avoid the inconvenience of loss of service, and the payment of a $25 reconnection fee, all Park City water users with delinquent accounts are urged to pay their water bills immediately. Animal control help available ; Summit County Animal Control is available to respond to all : complaints regarding animal laws and ordinances.: Emergency calls, (dogs attacking persons, or livestock, and '., injured animals), are handled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the Sheriff's Dispatch.
