Show Funeral Attended By Local People Mrs. J. E. Hardman, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hardman, Mrs. Glade Bullock, Mrs. Norma Winters on Friday attended the funeral of their nephew and cousin, Hyrum Earl Carlson, at Pleasant Green Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Mr. Carlson was born in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove on Aug. 7, 1907 to Hyrum Hy-rum and Viola Sundberg Carlson. He was currently employed by the Hercules Powder Co., as an explosives explo-sives operator. His death was due to complications following an industrial in-dustrial accident two months ago. He was a high priest in the Pleasant Gren Ward of the LDS Church. He married Dila Peterson on Dec. 31, 1932. She died in 1955. He married Elizabeth B. Hall on June 12, 1956. Survivors include his widow, his father Hyrum Carlson and stepmother step-mother of Salt Lake City, one son Jay", U.S. Navy, one daughter, Sherline Tomlin, Magna, one stepdaughter, step-daughter, Jean Hall, two grandchildren, grand-children, five brothers, Bert W., Roy B., Jack L., Max V., and Paul Carlson, all of Charleston. Also Al-so one sister, Mrs. May Hoover of American Fork. |
