Show mom uevjs By Vicki Syrett 679-8687 vickiscinternet.net Kent and Betty Wintch said that the frequent visits of their children to check on them is a delight to all. They appreciate their children and the good help they give and the children are appreciating their father's garden gar-den with fresh vegetables. Daughter, Charlene Hiquera of Orem, spent Labor Day weekend week-end with them and their son, Rhett Wintch of Idaho Falls, Ida. spent the past weekend visiting. Grandson, Randall Kent Spencer of Springville spent Saturday night at his grandparents grandpar-ents home before traveling on to his own home. Richard Ott, formerly of Tropic and now of St. George, wrote to say that they had spent the last few weekends traveling with family. Richard and his wife Julie and children came to Bryce Canyon and camped at Ruby's Inn over the Labor Day weekend. Julie's parents, the Lightner's of St. George, went along with them for the trip. Richard says his kids actually survived without TV or video games. He took his boys over to Asay Creek to see where grandfather, grand-father, Stan Ott, loved to fish. They didn't catch much but went hiking and learned grandpa Ott's favorite way to fish. Next they went to Ogden to visit Richard's brother, True Ott and his family. Louise Ott of Cedar City and Tropic went with them and it was a nice family get together for all. What lovely weather we are having. Not too hot and not too cold. Enjoyable and that full "harvest moon" was gorgeous. Were you able to catch planet . Mars when it was there in the sky so brilliant and red? Earth won't be that close to Mars again for a few thousand years. I would like to thank all the wonderful people who have been sharing their produce. It is so good and while we have great big tomato plants there are no tomatoes. I am sad, but have enjoyed all the great stuff coming com-ing our way. Thanks. |
