Show Bergland in Utah today to discuss irrigation policy U.S.Secretary of Agriculture Bob Berglend will attend a meeting at the Hotel Newhouae, Salt Lake City, Thursday (today). The meeting will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Originally the meeting was scheduled for the Hotel Utah. The meeting is to discuss the impact of irrigation on agricultural production and water supplies in water-sho- rt areas and the present and future role of agricultural policy in addressing water problems. Recognised professionals have been invited to present papers on the subject of irrigated agriculture and members of the general publie are also invited to submit written statements to provide additional information.
