mrs H C jacobs to head utah s clubs A triumph for club women of central and southern utah came with the election of mrs H C jacobs of mt aft pleasant to the presidency of the utah state federation of clubs the election took place at the annual convention of the federation held thursday friday and saturday at the brigham young university provo other officers installed saturday are mrs airs V P paugh bauh of ogden first vice president mrs airs M ercanbrack of provo second vice president mrs airs paul al dunn of logan recording secretary mrs airs gene hansen of provo treasurer mrs D al mcmillan of Al murray urray auditor and mrs airs D N of salt lake historian delegates to the general and western federation conventions were chosen most prominent among speakers at the convention was mrs airs sadie orr dunbar of portland oregon who as unopposed nominee for presidency of the general federation of clubs is assumed ejection to that national post in may mrs jacobs a club worker for 20 years is well known in the san pete and sevier districts she is the mother of mrs airs R D buchanan of richfield a past president of the richfield study club delegates representing the richfield study club at the convention were mrs ray E carr newly elected elected president mrs guy lewis vice president of section one and mrs kenneth borg vice president of section two mrs W S greenwood district director and mrs airs john L sevy jr who will hold this position the coming year also attended other members in attendance at the sessions thursday were mrs L A poulson mrs airs H E beal mrs frank pace and mrs J B mcmillan and at the friday sessions mrs airs W L warner mrs A J ashman mrs airs T R gledhill mrs airs R D buchanan mrs chase mrs airs hanmer E peterson and mrs jos B johnson
