The license fee is $50, but no aplicant for license will be given consideration unless said application Is accompanied by a duly executed bond In the sum of $2,500, which is required as an assurance that the aplicant will make full and complete payment for any produce purchased, as we understand the law. There has been considerable ad verse comment on this new produce dealers law, and some say thq fruit growers of the state should meet with the state legislature at its session next week and demand that the law be repealed. Speaking of this law, a prominent local fruit grower said yesterday that It means that unless the State Board of Agriculture enforces the law with a lot of tolerance, thousands of dollars will be lost by the growers. He stated further that where we had hundreds of truckers buying fruit here last year we have not one today; our best markets 49c 25c Cleansing Tissue Both for....!. - for Saturday! are gone.
