Show J I Thursday, November 3. 1983 Bluebell potato farm is harvested Bluebell LDS ward member two row digger, bags of potatoes. Under the direction of the project leaders. Dean Cook, Ted Kappen and Bishop Robert Marshall, a four acre field was planted by the members of the ward, young and old alike. Throughout the summer the tedious job of weeding found crews united in taking care of the young potato plants. This summer involvement did not effect the way in which whole families turned out recently to dig the potatoes and harvest their efforts. SCAREY OR FUNNY-Th- ese planned The youth interested in going on a super trip to Disneyland next year are selling ; homemade pies this weekend. Friday, November 4 at 8:S0 p.m. at the Safeway parking lot, the youth from the Rooeevelt First ward will be selling homemade pies. Senior Citizen News Dance Our Halloween dance was a huge success. Most of the people came in costumes and the comment heard most often was hilarious." Trips Christmas Around the World la one of the biggest shows put on at the Marriott Center in Provo. It will be Friday, December 2. The cost for the show is 84 each with our group . discount but we must get reservations in soon to assure seats. We also need to reserve rooms in Provo. The cost will depend on how many is in your room. Let us know if you want to be with someone s pedal. This ' helps eliminate problems for all of us. We will leave Rooeevelt late Friday morning just in time to have lunch either on the bus or toward the end of the trip and get there in time to see the Festival of the Trees at the Salt Palace about 2:00 p.m. Then well have a leisurely dinner in Salt Lake. After that well see the lights in Salt Lake City and around the Temple Square. Then on to Provo to the Marriott Center to see the show. 'Well stay all night in Provo, then spend a short time shopping and come home in the afternoon Saturday. . Bennie Lynn Malnar has recently returned from an intensive 50 hour training program at Diet Center Headquarters in Rexburg, Idaho, where whe was trained in daily counseling of diet maintenance, making nutritional food choices plus much more. He was educated in Utah, Washington and California schools and is a past member of the teaching staff at Utah Technical College. Whiting is married to the forma Virginia Bird of Springville and they have five children and fifteen grandchildren. Governor Whiting is expected to give a progress report on efforts and programs in force to revitalize Lions activities in the state of Utah including the funding and expansion of eye bank activities at the University of Utah Medical Center.
