Mr. Peterson attended local schools and graduated from Manti High School. He was a nuclear physicist and was employed at Dugway Proving Grounds. An active member of the LDS Church, Mr. Peterson was a member of the Union Eighth Ward High Priests quorum. He was MIA president and had served a stake mission. Mr. Peterson is survived by his wife.
