Show Another Pioneer Goue. Dr. J. L. "Cuuyon died in tbis city-last city-last evening. A few days ago he was brought btro from his residence at the Point of the Mountain, for treatment by Dr. Anderson, but bis ailing had too firm a hold on him, and he expired ex-pired at 8 o'clock, at the reaidence of Prest. D. II. Well, where he bad been taken. Dr. Duuyon was one of Ibosa men wLo was very well known as a pioneer, having como to Utah in JSjO. lie practiced medicine for a long time, but of late ho has lived a more secluded life, and was passing away from the memory of the younger generation, though be had many warm friendsamoDg them. He was born at Newbury port, Massachusetts, Massa-chusetts, November 10, 1S10. |
