Show Cedar City Reservist Now on Duty In Plasma Laboratory Keith C. Workman, a Cedar City resident who was called back into the Navy as a Pharmacist, Phar-macist, is now on duty with the Armed Services Blood Processing Laboratory at Travis air force base, in California, according to word received from him this week. His wife and family have left Utah to join him In California. The laboratory receives whole blood donated at Red Cross centers cen-ters throughout the nation and runs it through all necessary tests. These Include type, RH factor and titer. Plasma is then shipped by air in insulated containers to the front in Korea. The plasma must remain around 40 degrees F. from the time it is shipped until it is used. |
