Show DEDICATION AT SMITHFIELD Tabernacle Dedicated at Quarterly Con-. Con-. ference Saturday and Sunday. THE BUILDING COST ABOUT $40,000 Apostle Clawson the Big Man on this Occasion. A Good List of Items about things in General. Conference convened at Smlthtlcld Saturday mowilng, the occasion being of exceptional interest because of the dedication of the tabernacle. Apostle Clawson was on hand and delivered the dedicatory address. He congratulated congratu-lated the people of Smlthtield on their zeal, and the splendid edifice which Is the lesult,. The tabernacle was begun In 1833. The members of the church hauled rock and lumber from both Smlthtlcld and Logan cannons, donating their labors. One member made brick. After Af-ter working earnestly for several jears the people found their building uncompleted un-completed and a debt of $.54,000 hanging hang-ing over them. However, by hard work and many sacrifices the building was completed two years ago and the debt paid olT. $:t,000 extra was spent upon it. Apostle Clawson dwelt upon tho blessings that come with tideillty and courage and offeied words of good cheer and advice.
