Monday, October 17, was tentatively chosen for the affair, which is to be an informal dancing party held after Mutual. Eligible young men and women in the Second ward are invited to attend the weekly Monday meetings and participate in future activities- Will Dedicate Memorial On Armistice Day Dunng a meeting of the Service Star Legion Tuesday afteinoon at the home of Mrs. Nick Bernardi, the group made final plans for the dedication of their Memorial which is to be erected in the Price Memonal patk soon. The monument is on its way here and the Legion desires to dedicate it on Armistice Day if convenient. County C. I. O. Auxiliary Slates October 1 i Meet Carbon County Womens Auxiliaries of the C. I. O. will convene on October 14, 7:30 p. m. at the court house in Price, it was announced Monday by Mrs. Bertha Hill, press correspondent. Delegates from each Auxiliary are urged to attend. Ladies Aid To Meet Thursday the afternoon Next Thursday Ladies Aid society of the Price Community church will meet in the church parsonage for a social afternoon. Business discussions will probably center on their annual bazaar, which is scheduled for the first part of November. Past Matrons Met Tuesday Mrs. J. W. Hammond entertained the Past Matrons of the O. E. S. at her home TiJbsday evening, for their business meeting and a social hour. Literary Club Entertained Mrs. Karl Peterson was hostess to the Mnemonic club Friday afternoon. Guests enjoyed social chat and business discussions. Card Party Held Friday Mrs. Belmont Richards entertained her bridge club on Friday evening at her home. A dessert luncheon was served to six members and two guests. High score prizes were won by Mrs. C. W. Creamer and Mrs. H. E. Guests were Mrs. Ruel M. Redd and Mrs. H. D. Anderson.
