Weight announced today that effective July 13, all of Tooele's outgoing mail due to he processed on Saturdays and Sundays will he handled in the Salt Lake City Sectional Center. WEEKEND mail destined for other cities will be distributed by means of high speed cancellation and letter sorting equipment at the SLC Center. The postmark on this mail will read US Postal Service, Utah 840. Postal customers who desire their letters to receive the Tooele postmark will need to deposit their mail inside the main office in special drops designated for this particular purpose on the weekends, Mr. Weight said.
