Nurses Hear 1950 Rheumatic Fever Discussion At Meet Nurses of Box Elder county had a luncheon meeting Friday at .the. home 'Of Stone. Mrs. hostess. Mrs. Spencer Ralph Reeder was Mrs. Harold Felt discussed the rheumatic fever clinic that is held once a month in Box Elder county. Mrs. Winnifred Ryan presided over the. meeting. There were 12 nurses present. Literary' Club To Hold Meeting Next Monday . The literary section of the Civic Improvement club will hold their regular meeting Monday,, February 13, at 4 oclock in the afternoon in the Commercial clubrooms. Mrs. J. D. K Refreshments were served from a table centered with a large punch bowl and flanked by antique figurines. Mrs. Earl L. Wright, county camp president of the Daughters of Pioneers was master of ceremonies. Mrs. Verda Lee, Mrs. Arthur P. Smith and Miss Lenora Romer were in charge of the dance and tickets. Mrs. Lillian Widdows and Mrs. Z. W. Earl composed the refreshment committee. A fireside chat was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Jensen for the Beehive girls and the deacons of the Second ward following church last Sunday evening. Camelle Larsen was in charge and Lafe Jensen gave the opening prayer. Ted Bams gave an interesting talk on his missionary experiences in Hawaii and displayed a collection that he brought home. A committee was chosen for the next meeting to take place February 26, consisting of Sharon Stewart, Loraine Young, Arlene Monson. At the meeting Vella Sackett was selected as chairman of the group for the coming year and a dinner party was planned where the twelve members will be hosts to their husbands on the evening of February 16.
