Show Bill Deserves Support Recently legislation was introduced intro-duced in the U.S. House of Representatives which would change the way the Endangered Species Act is implemented to ease its detrimental affects on individuals and businesses. I applaud the sponsors spon-sors of the "Endangered Species Conservation & Management Act of 1995" for paying heed to the concerns of people across the country coun-try who are frustrated by over-zealous regulation as it relates to the present act. While I believe we must protect the environment, I also believe that the actions we take in pursuit of that goal should not threaten the livelihood of hard-working American Amer-ican taxpayers. This new bill will support that goal and allow property pro-perty owners to accept their responsibility re-sponsibility to conserve endangered species while still being able to work their land and support their families and communities. We "need more legislators like the sponsors of this legislation who will not only listen to our needs, but take action to meet them. Carl R. Albrecht Richfield, Utah |
