When the decision was made by the Board to close the school and we learned of it through the newspapers we felt they had made that decision without thorough investigation of the problems it presented. By vis iting with the board members and making an appeal to them at their regular board meeting we found they had misunderstood the situation and were very much interested in our school problems. Everyone who has any interest here was unanimous in their opposition to the closing of the school be cause of the adverse effect it would have.
