But when the stakes are high and somebody thinks he’s really going to soak this sucker — look out His bowling to pickup the greenbacks drives Don Carter and most pro's to shame 4 Nick Kontas Typo This guy rolls the ball with all the speed of a cat chasing a fat mouse But because of many discouraging splits (sometimes In his pants) he changes his tactics to rolling the ball like a marble pushing the reset button to cross up opponents bowling left handed and general clowning around The owners of the alleys know this type well 5 Any Girl Type Girls have quite a handicap at bowling namely clothing Girls have many types of clothes that would be suitable for this type of activity but invariably they wear the wrong type of clothing If you thing boys suffer from bad splits you you to see what happens to girls that wear tight skirts hull skirts are just about as bad the ball can get hidden or wrapped up in all that material and boy that can really be a handicap Girls have a habit of sliding down the alley Now girls if this is one of your faults you can correct it by letting go of he ball at the appropriate moment How these girls who bowl the ball with the same strength they put on makeup can run up such teriffic scores and embarrass men HI never know Seme girls can bewl and do ethers act like they can't but do very well In competition ethers act like they can't bewl and can't bewl for heck My advice to bowling girls try net to be a hazard on the alleys stay outofthe way until It's your turn Actually bowling is a lot of fun and is enjoyed by millions every year I believe everyone should try bowling in his lifetime Special to Girls The players DO NOT TAKE showers at halftime they rest and talk You learn something everyday right? Dora the Dumbell I must be psychic I know the score of any ball game before it starts Nothing to nothing Appointment Praised The American Medical Association has praised President John F Kennedy for his appointment of a women Dr Janet G Travell as his personal physician and called the selection a "timely affirmation of the rewarding careers open to women in medicine" Dr F L Blosingome the society’s executive of AMA states that last year 405 women received M D degrees from medical schools and that of the 252000 physicians in the country 13000 of them (5ft) are women There arc unlimited opportunities for "intellectually superior” women to enjoy the equality the profession offers The pay is good and even the hours arc good since women can blend marriage and a career in medicine The work is rewarding "Your work will be interesting beyond your wildest dreams’’ according to the American women’s Medical Association The first woman to be graduated with an M D degree from an American College was Elizabeth Blackwell In 1849 she was a pioneer in this profession Women physicians have won the highest honors the profession can bestow including the Nobel Prize This was won by Dr Gcrty T Cori honored in 1947 for synthesis of glycogen the chief carbohydrate storage material in animals "There is such a great demand for physicians” the association spokesman said” that the association has developed a student scholarship and loan program which will provide up to 3200000 in scholarships to 50 honor students and establish a fund of more than $1 million as security for the student loans” Perhaps it would be a wise move for some of Carbon College’s superior coeds to turn to medicine as a career vice-preside- 1 js b - nt r engineering student at Utah State University Mr Halamandaris was Closes Gap in Rase Greatest accomplishment the United States has made in the missile race was made present-da- y when the mlnuteman blasted off at Cape Canaveral according to civic defense authorities At this point the United States stepped across the threshold from the highly complicated and equally temperamental and expensive rocket to the era solid of the propelled rocket motor The wisest route for the nation’s missile race to follow calls for the phasing out of the exliquid-propell- ed pensive and unreliable rocket motors and placing emphasis on the comparatively cheap and emazingly reliable solid propellent rockets motors Civil defense authorities tell Americans that in the event of an attack by a foreign power they will have 15 minutes warning before the deadly rain of rockets reach them This Is enough time to retaliate with the solid rockets as opposed to the two hours or more required to launch liquid type liquid-propell- -- Here Now- - Trimless Traditional Suits for the
