RandalL She has been seen on the golf course where, no doubt, she is equal in her playing to the other lady golfers; she has been seen riding about town with her husband on a nicely trained and spirited horse; she is very much at home in social pastime, being quite adept to the game of cards; she is a mother of a fine son, therefore, we assume she is a good housekeeper and cook; and if so we think the above mentioned virtues would be sufficient to contribute to a well rounded out life of activities. Well, that is not all because the writer was privileged to see her, for the first time last night, on the stage. She took a leading part in the college play, Return Engagement and gave a very vivid portrayal of a high spirited, fast talking and laugh provoking lady trying to direct the entire activities of a company of stage performers. She, as did all the other members of the cast receive much praise from the audience. All of this goes to show' that we really do not know our neighbors and if they were given the opportunity to display their talents they would render much more valuable service to the community. We have stated before, editorially, that the plays put on by the college, the Mutuals and other organizations are well worth while. It is a pleasure to see our own boys, girls and neighbors, in person, acting or singing or reading or playing for the enjoyment of the home people, so we really hope that more of such activities will be conducted. The play will be repeated tonight and tomorrow' night at the college. It is very well directed by Miss Leora Thatcher, staff member of the college faculty.
