It is a good comedy, and the decision not to substitute a fresh piece for it at the dedication of the Empire is a wise one. E. H. Southern in "The Proud Prince" follows Mr. Drew at the Herald Square on October 12th. fc5 fcjw tJ Maxine Elliott has risen beautifully as an independent in-dependent star in "Her Own Way," which will hegin its second week at the Garrick tomorrow. 5 William Collier in an English comedy will be something of a novelty. "Are You My Father?" his new play, which will be brought out at the Bijou next Thursday night, is taken partly from "Japhet in Search of a Father." and is therefore English. |
