He was born April 20, 1909 at Emery, Utah to Ira Allen Beal and Irene Jensen. He married Alice Flora Peterson on November 26, 1930 in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away July 7, 1955. On April 19, 1958 he married Amy Latimer Harrison in Elko, Nevada, solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 19, 1981. Elbert was a man of main talents, a master electrician, plumber and auto mechanic.
