morning feb 20 aunt deb johnson 93 passed from tier her active and colorful pioneer life to her final reward death was va not unexpected as she had been falling rapidly in the few previous dais however she ghe was active until the last few hours houra of her earthly existence aunt deb was one of the few ft women omen who came as pioneers to tho the shley valley in 1878 she and her husband with a number of emigrants summered on diamond mountain and entered the valley in the fall of 1878 among these emigrants joseph hardy allen alien davis sterling colton and cub johnson in 1885 alfred summers bummers johnson her husband died leaving her u with ith a large family to rear in a pioneering country to her great credit she raised that family of bos and girls that they have been tin an honor to her and to the community A little incident of the many sacrifices in her life may be in part the reason they so 90 matly greatly honored her in the early days it was a strenuous duty for a
