Show FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 1952 Sf. Vincents the first harbingers of the anspring has arrived nouncement of the date for that "hardy annual", the St. Patrick's dinner. This year it will be held on Sunday evening, March 16. Details will be given later. One of , An extensive redecorating job was done in St. Vincent's church during the last week of January. The work was under the supervision of E. Warren Keate who had done the original decorating in the church. The Altar Society has postponed its regular meeting to accommodate the schedule of the Catholic Women's League. It will meet next Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 8 p. m. Class" is Another "Inquiry meeting each Monday at 7:30 p. m. in the Rectory. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear and be heard on questions regarding the Catholic faith in an atmosphere of cordiality. Anyone who wishes to attend is most welcome at any or all of the meetings. THE MURRAY Parts of Program Told for Stake Confab on Feb. 16-1- Meet Liberty Hears Supt. Parratt P-T- 7 The Murray stake MIA girls' chorus will furnish the music for the evening session of the next stake conference to be held at the Stake House at 33rd South and State, Sunday, Feb. 17, withj sessions at 10 a. m. and 6:30 p. m. Mrs. Elsie Richardson has charge of this chorus and she invites the girls who have participated with her before and all others who would like to sing to come to all their practices. For particulars, call Mrs. Richardson, Murray 1133-R- . Music for the morning session will be presented by the stake aaronic priesthood chorus, directed by Lincoln Robinson, who is anxious that more of the boys participate. He asks that ward advisors contact him aaronic about practices and then see that a good group from their ward quorum attendes all the practices so as to make the chorus a success. The Saturday evening session of the conference, Feb. 16, will be held at 7:30 p. m. at the First ward chapel. This meeting is for all elders and wives and all adult aaronic priesthood members and wives. The visiting elder has a special message for this group of members. The Teen-ag- e Group, under the direction of Mrs. Frank Ravarino will hold a card party in the church hall Saturday evening, Feb. 9. This is their first "parochial endeavor" and friends and parishioners are urged to support it. 5VsBi bthTsTIi A The Liberty meeting Monday evening at the school house was attended by a large group of interested parents of that area. The meeting was presided over by Pres. Mrs. Gertrude Humphries. The following program was presented: The Pledge of allegiance, led by Stephen Peterson; invocation, Ann Sanders; objectives were read by Ruby Douglas; Mrs. Elaine Williams was sustained as the new 1st vice president to replace Mrs. Vivian Green, who was honorably released with a vote of thanks for a fine job; "Founder's Day Pageant", directed by Mrs. Lenna Hawkins, presented by the following cast, Emma Chatelain, narrator, Cuba Anderson, Grace Williams, Lila 3arker, Helen Billings, Nola WinJet, Thola Ogden, Arda Klassner and Bertha Ashby. Male quartet, "Shrimp Boats are Coming" and "Skittoes", the Steadman brothers; the guest speaker, Supt. J. Easton Parratt, discussed the status of the Mur-"a- y school building program and the method used in portioning the state school funds. He also told about a committee made up of 60 members, which is to survey all phases of education in the state. Short talks were made by Mrs. Ruth Poulson, Murray council, and Liberty Principal Webb Snarr. There were 81 present.
