Show CHARLES R. MABEY DISCUSSES BONDS Charles R. Mabey, head of the Defense Bond Sales for the State of Utah, disclosed facts and figures fig-ures to show that Utah is taking her place among the top ranks in sales : of Defense Bonds and Stamps, when he addressed members mem-bers of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce at the weekly lunch eon of the group. Mr. Mabey former governor lars have been built in the state explained that the state now has a tremendous wage drawing power pow-er and if every wage earner in the state will purchase his ten per cent of bonds, Utah will be among the highest in the nation. New Defense industries amounting amount-ing to four hundrej million dollars dol-lars have beenbuilt in the state, he stated, and the payroll in one unite alone amounts to two million mil-lion dollars per month. Showing what a small group can do in the way of purchasing War Stamp and Bonds, members of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce purchased $230 worth Wednesday at the regular meet-' .ing of the group.
