DEED OF AMEND A Baby Thrown Into the Jordan River The Body Found Floatlns by Some Young Boys Undoubtedly the Child of an Erring Young Girl About noon yesterday some boys were playing along the bank of the Jordan at Sixth South street when they saw what appeared to be a rubber doll caught among some stakes in the river They went out to get the object and were horror struck to find that it was the body of a male child Some men came to the scene and the body was taken to the shore I was entirely naked and much swollen evidently having been in the water about a week It was undoubtedly un-doubtedly thrown in the river very soon after its birth Coroner Harris was notified of the ghastly find and went down in the afternoon and took charge of the body which is now at Undertaker Evans morgue The inquest will be held at 4 p m today It is undoubtedly a case of infanti cide the only question being as to whether or not the child was dead waen thrown into the river In either event it is a most shocking and revolting case So far not the slightest evidence has been elicited connecting con-necting anyone with the affair
