Cross-country classes This is your last chance to look as hot as all of those nordic skiers you've been watching this winter. The White Pine Touring Center will be offering a final session for crosscountry cross-country ski lessons during four Saturdays in March. Karate Kata competition A training seminar taught by Bob Laurence, grand champion cham-pion Kata competitor, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 12:30 p.m. in the Memorial Building. Dance aerobics Dance aerobics continues with the Park City Recreation Department's dance coordinator, Mary Jane Bird. Community Clinic schedule The Park City Community Clinic, a non-profit family planning plan-ning program, will hold five clinics during the month of March: March 3, at 2 p.m. March 9, at 9 a.m. March 17, at lp.m. March 25, at 9a.m. March 31, at lp.m. The services offered include: physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Cost of these services are minimal or on a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied use of the clinic and all services are confidential. Dealing with divorce, family separation The Parent Education Resource Center (PERC) and the Prevention Center are sponsoring a group for parents and their children who are undergoing changes in their family which are a result of divorce or separation of family members. mem-bers. The group will meet once a week for four to six weeks from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Parley's Park Elementary School starting start-ing Thursday, Feb. 25, 1982. The group is open to all single parents, or potential single parents, and their children. Preregistration is encouraged, but not required. There is no fee involved. Voter registration The deadline for voter registration for the upcoming election elec-tion on the Summit County Charter is March 3. Individuals who have been residents of the county since on or before Feb. 21 may register by mail or in person at the office of the Summit Sum-mit County Clerk in Coalville. Registration forms are available at the offices of the Park City Municipal Corp., the Silver King State Bank and the First Security Bank. The election elec-tion will be held March 23. Volunteers for youth soccer Sewer fees Spend some time this spring coaching youth soccer. We need volunteers in the areas of assistant coach, coach, referee or team mothers. If you don't know anything about either of these positions, we'll train you. Get yourself in shape and help the kids of Park City at the same time. Kids ballet and tap The Park City Recreation Department, through Community Com-munity Education is now offering kids (ages 5-12) ballet and tap dance through our dance coordinator, Mary Jane Bird. Call for information' at. 649-9461 Monday-Friday, 3-10 p.m. Tax instructions Now you can save money by doing your tax forms yourself with the help of federal income tax instructions on cassette tapes, available at the Park City Library. The cassette tapes are provided by the IRS and can be used in the library using their recorders, or you can bring your own recorder. They contain step-by-step guidelines for the preparation of IRS Forms 1040A and 1040, as well as instructions instruc-tions for completing Schedules A and B, the two schedules most commonly used with the 1040. Taxpayers report itemized deductions and income from interest and dividends on these schedules. Sewer connection fees within the Snyderville Basin Sewer District have been increased to $2,000 per unit effective Feb. 8, 1982. Connection fees will not be accepted from projects which do not have current line extension agreements. Sewer District meeting The Snyderville Basin Sewer Improvement District will , j be holding its meetings on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month beginning at 7 p.m. in the district offices. Parking during plowing During the snow season, there will be no parking on the east side of each street throughout Park City, and no on-street on-street parking at all in the Park Meadows area to facilitate snow plowing. Vehicles parked on that side of the street will be ticketed at this time of the year. Watercolor classes The Park City Recreation Department will be continuing watercolor classes (taught by Steve Lloyd) on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Memorial Building during February and March.
