Show A Lively Runaway. The even tenor of Main street was disturbed dis-turbed about 1 o'clock to-day by a lively runaway. Dr. White's sorrel horse and buggy were hitched in front of his office, when the old Arab became uneasy, and slipping his bridle he went tearing down Main street at a 2 :40 gait, splashing the mud broadcast. On turning into his quarters at Mulloy & Paul's stables he collided with several carriages. The damage dam-age consists of three smashed wheels to standing carriages and the demolishing of the Doctor's top buggy. |
