Show SOUTH MILFORD ; Mr. Walter Weber and Mrs. George S. Stanley entertained at' auction bridge la?t Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Two tables were played and the hostesses served delicious re-' frehments. The following ladies of Milford were their guests: Mesdames Scott Tanner, Joe Smith, X. C. and Tom Schow, Myron Lewis, Antone Johnson and LaMar Outzen. The Social Hour club met last Thursday afternoon to celebrate the eleventh anniversary of their organization, organi-zation, rather than the tenth as stated last week. Jolly games made a lively afternoon, Mrs. Parley Fisher Fish-er having these in charge. Remin-icences Remin-icences were indulged in between, older and younger members. Mem-, bers and guests were later seated at ! a long table graced with many Sowers, all home grown. Three large rthday cakes decorated in the club ' colors were cut by Mrs. F. W. Gospill and Mrs. W. W. Cook, senior and charter members of the club. Excellent Excel-lent ice cream accompanied the cakes which proved as good to eat as they had looked. Mesdames Kent Smith and J. G. Weber were chairmen of the arrangements committee and the most pleasant afternoon was due to their careful planning. Mrs. Morgan Griffiths returned on Friday from a week spent in Salt Lake at the Rebekah Grand lodge. o |
