Show Cash Available NEW MVHSTtX'K LOANS Special livestock loans, authorized by recent legislation, are row available to eligible farmers and ranchers in this locality, It was announced this week by June S. Barron, supervisor of tho Farmers Home Administration tor Garfield and Kane Counties. Purpose of the U.S. Department of Agrlculture'a new loans Is to provide temporary credit to livestock producers to conttnue their operations, after suffering economic difficulties caused by the drop In cattte prices and dairy products. Established producer of cattle and sheep may borrow If they cannot get the credit they need Irom customary sources, If they have good records of operations, and If the credit would give them a reasonable chance to succeed. I.oant may be used to buy or produce feed, pay for grazing permits, rent farm buildings, pasture, and feed crop land; replace, hire, or repair farm machinery and equipment, build and repair fences, move livestock to and from grazing places; repair or Improve livestock and domestic water miDDllea: and nay essential living expenses and costs ot main- . talnlng farm and ranch buildings. Under the program, which expires In July of 1365, loans bear 5' percent Interest and are repayable over periods up to three years.
