Show James W, Myers James W. Myers James W. Myers, 78, Panguitch, died March 31, 1979 in a Panguitch hospital. He was born June 8, 1900, Panguitch, to John Ephrium and Mary Ophelia Cooper Myers. He married Grace Clark June 6, 1923inManti LDS Temple. She died March 18, 1959. He married Ruby Avley Ormond, Nov. 24, 1965. He was a farmer, dairyman and livestock raiser; owned and operated first milk pasteurizing plant in Panguitch, former active member of Panguitch Wildlife Federation; lifelong resident of Panguitch and member of LDS Church. Survivors: widow; Pangutich; two daughters, three sons; Mrs. Carroll H. (Fern) Wilson, Orem; Mrs. , Walter J. (Elda) Tasker, Richfield; Van J., Lewis W., both Midvale; Zeth Clark, Salt Lake City; two step sons, Orvil K. Ormond, Torrance, Calif.; Arthur M. Ormond, Security, Colo.; 28 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren and 6 step grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at the Panguitch First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop John Wallace Yardley officiating. Kevin Myers offered the family prayer and Walter J. Tasker played prelude and postlude music. Keith Wilson offered the invocation. . Speakers were Jerry LeFevre and Bishop Kern Owens with remarks by Bishop John Wallace Yardley. Music included piano solo by Walter J. Tasker, fugal horn and violin duet by Mark and Karen Chamberlain and vocal solo by Vee Bruhn. Carroll H. Wilson offered the benediction. Burial was in the Panguitch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Orvil K. Ormond gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Richard Wilson, Norval Myers, Terry Myers, Thomas Tasker, Marrell Ormond, James B. Ormond, Ralph Tasker, Malcolm Tasker. Bernard Haycock, Jr. Bernard Haycock, Jr., 50, died March 31, 1979, Salt Lake City. He was born April 23, 1928, Panguitch, to Bernard and Elma Judd Haycock. He married Charlene Hisow June 19, 1970 'in El Paso, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army as a specialist in guided missiie training and inspection, serving during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, retiring as a sergeant first class in 1969 after 22 years of service. Survivors: widow, son, Bernard Haycock III, both Kennewick, Wash.; seven step children; mother, Cedar City; one brother, three sisters; Daniel George," Fredonia, Ariz.; Mrs. James (Marba) Sandberg, Mrs. Nyal (Faye Ella) Miller, both Cedar City; Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Woodard, Bismarck, N.D. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Panguitch North LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Frank H. Henrie officiating. Mack Haycock offered the family prayer and Irene McEwen and Hope Truman played prelude and postlude music. Ross Miller offered the invocation. Speakers were James C. Sandberg and Howard Hatch with remarks by Bishop Frank H. Henrie. Music included two selections by Panguitch Third Ward Choir; vocal duet by Nellie Hey wood and Hill man Haycock; selection by Carol Haycock, Joyce Prince, Colleen Fife, Sonja Black and Debbie Miller. Austin Heywood offered the benediction. Burial was In Panguitch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Military rites were by Panguitch Post No. 45 of the American Legion. Daniel George Haycock offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Paul Woodard, Nyal Miller, Gregory Woodard, Wyatt Woodard, Stacy Woodard and Paul Haycock. E His Huff Allen TROPIC - Ellis Huff Allen, 84, died March 27, 1979, at a Cedar City hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1894, Tropic, to John Millard and Lydia Almira Losee Allen, lie married T r u i e Bell Woolstenhulme Sept. 14, 1942 In the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a farmer, veteran of World War I, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and LDS Church member. Survivors: widow; sons, Ellis Lynn, Panguitch, John William, St. George; five grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Guy (Elba) Schow, Panguitch; half sisters, Mrs. Zelpha Roundy, Vernal, Mrs. Ovisa Workman, Laverkin. Funeral services were held March 31 in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Franz Shakespear officiating. John Allen offered the family prayer and Judy Chynoweth played prelude and postlude music. Evan Chynoweth offered the invocation. Speakers were Bishop Malen Mecham and Earl Jolley with remarks by Bishop Franz Shakespear and history by Myra Loy Ott. Music Included two selections by Relief Society Choir; selection by family of Eliza Cox; duet by Jim Beard and Sherry B. Zohner. Bishop Clive Bybee offered the benediction. Burial was in the Tropic Cemetery with military rites by Panguitch Post No. 25 of the American Legion. Lester Clark offered the dedicatory prayer.
