The Spanish style ome of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coates at 1120 East Mountain Ridge Road features a tree decorated in gold ornaments, with green ribbons and orange lights. A porcelain nativity scene, which was made by the hostess, will capture interest, as will the Spanishstyle furnishings throughout, and the entry designed to highlight a particular clock. The home of Donald C. Dean, 1950 No. Apple Ave., also of Spanishstyle, both exterior and interior, will feature outside lighting and a decorated tree.It displaysinterest and vitality as a masculine single dwelling. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce E. Pearson, 869 East 2680 N., enjoy their colonial style home with exciting views from each window. It features a view ofall of Utah Valley from the deck. Furnished in traditional style, the house features Christmas decorations Mrs. Pearson has madeforliving room and family room, such as three red velvet plaques, each holding a gold ceramic wise man. A life-size Santa will greet guests. Mrs. Helen L. Skousen, 1470 East Apple Avenue,has stressed a Merry Christmas home for a large family. The home, with eight bedrooms, will be decoratedthroughout. Of special interest in this home are furnishings made by the Skousen children. A daughter’s room features a caaopy, bed dust ruffle, and comforter she made for herself. The early American maple furniture in the family room, whichincludes children’s furniture, a telephone stand and a hutch were made by a son. Mr, and Mrs. Dean Van Wagenen, 1450 Oak Lane, decoratedtheir homeinside and outside after a visit to Europe. The ornamental railing around the roof top of their home is similar to those found in Mediterranean countries. The home exterior is of GrecoRoman style, with pillars and marble, fascia. Inside, of interestto all, will be their display of Venetian glass ware in red and green crystal, hand-painted in gold. Their collection includes vases, pitchers, decanters, punch bowls, trays, sherbets, and boglets. The Marvin Wrigley home, 2966 Iroquo is a distinctive traditional style home with a awit _ . New England falvor. It was designed and built by the owner and decorated by his wife. It features antique items, such as an 18th century fireplace and beautiful decorative glass windows. It carries the charm of an elegant winding stairway, open beam ceilings and Old English plank flooring. Decorated with holly, wreaths, Christmas tree and lights, it carries the spirit of an old- shearling, with shoulder yokes and snap closings, cowboy style. The newest have quilted suede cloth shoulder yokes or gun and elbow patches, Others use two colors of ribless corduroy, such as chamois and brown, to emphasize jacket detail and the matching split leg flared pants. Designer John Paul Goebel focused on a masculine ranch look with a new approach.
