Show report shows schools of in good condition the regular annual report from the clerk ot of the tintic gintic school dia dis brict is being published in ill this issue of the reporter it is the first re port to be complied compiled since the con soli dation of the schools of the tin tic mining district and the figures show that the schools are ln in excel lent condition the cash balance would have been considerably larger had it not been necessary ceary ne for the trustees to wipe out an overdraft which existed in one of the towns of the district and to pay for new equipment which had been purchased tor for one of the other schools officials of the school dia dis triet and others who have taken the trouble to investigate are highly plead pleased with the operation of the schools under one head and there can be no question but what the tern of consolidating will bring about much better conditions es specially ally in the smaller towns in other thing which should be pleas ing to property owners in tintic gintic is the tact fact that under the new system tl e standard of the schools can be raised without increasing the oper abing expenses the tintic gintic school district had a cash lalance of better than 20 for the year ending june 1916 there ther I 1 as been ea a substantial in crease in the school population tio I 1 of the district and athis will mean that a larger sum of money will be IP LP portio ed to tintic gintic from the state f in 14 1 |
