Show Burned to Death HEBRON U T Febr 27 Special Dispatch to tho HERALD i This morning about 5 oclock the citizens of our town were awakened with the cry of fire It was soon discovered toat the scene of the fire was on the promises of John Pul sipher and in room occupied by Prudence Macunamary Pulsipher widow of the late Zera Pulsipher When the fire was first discovered the flames were issuing from every opening in the buildingand through the roof cutting of all possible chance of assistance from the outside out-side Following is the verdict of the coroners jury COUNTY OF WASHINGTON 1 TERRITORY OF UTAH f Precinct of Heber An inquisition held in the house of John Pulsipher in Hebron precinct pre-cinct County of Washington on the 27th day of February A D 1883 before Daniel M TyJer Justice of the Peace in Hebron precinct county aforesaid upon the body of Prudence Macunamary Pulsipher aged 79 years lying dead by the jurors whose names thereto subscribed sub-scribed Tne said jurors upon their oaths do say that the said Prudence Pulsipher came to her death by burning while lying on her bed during the burning of the room in which she lay and that said room was accidentally set on fire by her own hand about 5 oclock on the morning of the 27th day of February 1883 and further that we > find no cause of blame attachableto any person or persons whatsoever In testimony whereof the said jurors have hereunto set their hands this day an year aforesaid Signed GEORGE A BUBGON ORSON W HUNTSMAN G W LAMB D M TYLER Justice of the Peace Acting Coroner |
