Show The Payson Chronicler Payson, Utah Thursday, January Obituaries Della Badham Mrs. Della Deon Sargent Badham, 67, died Friday at Utah Valley Hospital of a heart ailment Mrs. Badham, wife of John V. Badham, was bom Aug. 12, 1896, at Payson, a daughter of Sar- J. P. and Della Quigley gent. She married Mr. Badham 1914 at Provo. She was an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, having served as an officer in both Camp Seagull and Camp Sego Lily, and also as County chorister. She was also a member of and director of the Singing Mothers, also a LaNesta Chorus and a visiting teacher for the Relief Society. Twede, Payson, died early Sat. morning at Tooele Valley HospitaL He had been residing at a Tooele rest home for several months. Mr. Twede was bom Aug 22, 1873 at Provo, a son of Christian Fredrick Nelson and Christina Peterson Bole Twede. He married Mary Eliza Jensen February 10, 1897 in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Oct. 10, 1935. He married Clara Huish Page, in Feb. 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. She died April 11, 1958. Mr. Twede was bishop of the Spring Lake Ward for a number of years. He served in the High Council of Nebo Stake and held the office of High Priest, at the time of his death. He was a member of the Beet Growers Association. Mr. Twede lived in Mapleton from the time of his marriage until 1907, when he moved to West Mountain. He moved to Grand County in 1919 for one year, and then to Spring Lake in 1920 and to Payson in 1938. He was a farmer during most of his life, and was retired at the time of his death. Surviving are the following sons and daughters, Vernal Twede, Mrs. Leone (Doris) Tanner; Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Bigler, all of Payson; Arthur L. and Lawrence E. Twede, Salt Lake City, Hugh R. Twede, Clearfield, Mrs. Elvon (Thelma) Butler, Spring Lake; Wood row Twede, Tooele; Mrs. La Mar (Veda) Durfey, Mrs. Arthur (Hilda) Kinder, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Ray (Arlena) Lofgran, Springville; 36 grandchildren; 71 greatgrandchildren, one great-grea- t' grandchild, a sister, Mrs. Viola Allen, Springville. He was bom in Salt Lake City January 19, 1906, a son of John Edward and Eleanor Jones Schoenfeld. He married Alta Huff March 28, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived in Salt Lake until 1919 when he moved with his family to a farm on West Mountain. He lived there until eight months ago when he moved to his present home in Payson. He was an active member of the LDS Church.
