G Peas- Peas r f- f fley Jey ley vice president and treasurer of the f I FC T Chicago Burlington Quincy Railroad company company and treasurer of the new f V Chicago Burlington Quincy Rail Rail- Railway Railway way company the lessee of all the theL J L l' l Burlington properties has resigned to fake ake effect today z Ir J Peasley entered the service of the old Burlington Missouri River railroad in 1862 as station agent at Ottumwa Ottumwa Ot- Ot Iowa He was made assistant treasurer of that road with headquarters at Burlington in 1864 and in 1866 1166 left the railroad service to be cashier Of f the National State bank at Burlington Burlington Burling Burling- ton which under his management grew to be a strong and prosperous financial institution In 1881 he was made treasurer of the Chicago Burlington Quincy railroad and in 1882 took the additional office of vice-president vice in which positions he lie has served until now Mr Peasley easley says that after a sufficient sufficient suf suf- period of rest and recreation he will likely take some less exacting business business bus bus- mess iness being in his sixty-second sixty year Mr 11 Peasley will be succeeded by Mr T T.
