Show THE WORD FROM BOULDER - BY NETITELLA GRIFFIN Now that the deer hunting season has been extended to an extra week, everyone agrees that the only thing needed to make this a thoroughly successful hunt, is about two Inches of snow. Snow to cover .the rustling leaver that cause the big bucks 10 flee to distant cover. Alonj? with everyone else, tne sportsmen have enjoyed the summer-like sunshine and cool rights, and all that I have braid of have got at least one deer apiece. Nina Moosman reports that she has sold seventy-one deer licenses recent ly, about equally divided between residents and non-residents. Added to the twenty combination fishing and hunting permits she sold earlier in the season and the forty-eight extra doe licences, tho total is Impressive. All I wish is that the money for these permits could be spent making roads and trails to the more inaccessible parts of the mountain. Several names should be added to the list of "horn folks" I mentioned last ween who have come to 'get their deer and do a little visiting. Among these are Mr. and Mrs Harvey Moosman of Ogderi, Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Moosman of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. William LeFevre of Salt Lalu, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Thompson of Salem, Mr. and Mrs. Ken" ncth Griener of Salt Lake, Mr and Mrs. Allen Worthen of ' Logan, and Mrs. Loretta Thompson Sherman of Call-fornia. km Mrs. Nltv. Moosman' brother Irving Handcock and his family of Spanish Fork are visiting at tho Moosman home. Mrs. Dorothy Lyman made a trip to Salt Lake Thursday where among other things she -planned to attend the state high school band concert In which her daughter Gladys and Twill Behunln are participating with the Escalante High School band. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Moosman have received word of ;, the birth of a new grandson born to Mr. and Mrs. Morell Ivle of Kansas City, Missouri. The Milton Colemans of Og-dm also have a new baby. Thus Grandrqa Mary Moosman Is adding two names to her list of great-grandchildren. I have a new grand-niece, born to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ly- t man of Salt Lake. The mother I will be remembered as Marl- an King of Boulder. This. Is their second daughter. llr. and Mrs. Clyde King have gone to Glendale, Call- fornia, to attend the marriage r of their daughter Linda to I Salvatore Bongiorno, After I the wedding the youna cou- f pie left for a week's trip to j Hawaii They expect to ccme I to Boulder for a wedding . dance on November 6 or 7.
