MONEY-BAC- Consolidated Implement AT- 95 Richmond Ripples. Last week, Saturday, No. 1, Vol 1, of theRtchmond Advocate, made its appearance in ur city. All who received a copy began to hunt for the Richmond articles, and when we found them such a hearty laugh as we had. If the first issue is a fair sample of what is to follow, our citizeua will of ne:eseiiv look in The Journal for the correct news, as it would be hard for U6 to be sure who ihe clerks were or what they were fitted for by the report of the Advocate. A more mixed up lot of news could hardly be written than appeared in its columns. But, after all, a hearty laugh is worth something. Two of our very popular young men have departed from their friends and homes, this week, for the Southern States Mission field. Ute Griffia and WoS. Petty were among our brightest young men, and were favnrites among atl classes. On Friday evening oflast week a largely attended and highly fcuccesbful farewell party was held in the hall. The entire community unite in wishing them health and prosperity ou their mission and a safe return to homes and friends. All the reports of dread disease and other hards!: ips failed to swerve these two valiant young persons from their path of duty and they started out with light hearts aid happy thoughts to take up the work of teaching the Gospel to their fellow men. Hyrum Bair has completed his residence up High Creek, and oa evening last a large (Saturday friends visited him to warm the new house. .A most enjoyable time it was, and all wished him peace and happiness for many years to come.
