Split level, four bedrooms, large kitchen and a comfortable family room. Soon it will be filled with loving parents and eight lively, active young boys. It could be a typical house in the suburbs, but this building at 3534 South 6th West is a temporary home for boys until the Juvenile Court decides what to do with them. r to the Located Salt Lake County Detention next-doo- A family room for "rap sessions.' Center, the new shelter care home will help ease the pressure to find individual shelter homes for the youngsters. The county has 50 such homes - families that keep youngsters from a few days to 0 three months, until a Court decision on permanent placement is reached. Most of these homes are in use constantly. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mullen will serve as house parents and James C. Sutteer administers the program. There will continue to be a critical need for more shelter homes, crisis centers and youth centers for youngsters who, for one reason or another, cannot function in their own home environment.
