duties were performed by George Watt Prenuptial parties were given for the bride by Beverly Potter, Sherry Sandy Spencer, Rawson, Thonda Daw, Lauana Beverly Doty, Shepherd Lorianne is a Cyprus High spent in Salt Lake City When the town was sold, m 1955 , she moved to Magna where she has lived since She has a sister, Mrs MARY PETERSON Clarence (Ruth) Ripley, living in Magna, and a brother Victor J Thomas who lives in Salt Lake She has 30 grandchildren d 41 Throughout her life Mary has been active in gardening, cooking, handwork, till failing health kept her from it She was supportive of her church, serving an LDS stake mission in Garfield under Bishop W'llliam B Martin Her family describe her as always retaining a sense of humor, helping her to find happiness during her years without her husband CLASSIFIEDS WORK WONDERS Mrs Draper wore a gown of silk organza featuring full, lace trimmed sleeves and a circular skirt with a chapel train Her fingertip veil of illusion was trimmed with Truck Rodeo for the drivers of Associated Foods on June 11 The rodeo was held m the Associated Foods parking lot where an obstacle course was erected There were baricades to depict offset alleys, barrels spaced so trucks must weave in and out, sometimes even backing up, parallel parking and back-i- n situations In one event, tennis balls were set on pegs 31 inches apart, and the drivers had to drive their duals between the tennis balls This only allowed 4 inches of free space as each of their wheels is 27 inches wide The rodeo was patterened after the National Trucking Rodeo with Highway Pfatrol judging the event Divisions were Long Haul, which consists of out-o- f town drivers, Short Line which is local drives, and Bobtail, the small delivery trucks Jack placed first in the Long Haul
