Dinner was served to 12 guests. The ladies Auxiliary of Prison Personnel, met at the home of Mrs Murlin Jensen last Thursday evening. After the meeting, refreshments were served. A large group of boys and girls are attending Kindergarten classes this summer for six weeks at the Crescent school, with Mrs Margaret Peterson as the teacher. Mr & Mrs Marvin E. Preston and son Earl, spent the Memorial Day week-enin Twin Falls, Ida. They visited with Mr Preston's parents, Mr & Mrs Cliff Preston and with his brother Kenneth, who is home on a furlough before he will leave for Germany where he will be stationed in the armed services. Bruce Dunn, son of Mr & Mrs John Dunn celebrated his 6th birth birthday May 30. Friends and relatives attended. Mr & Mrs Charles Carroll and son William, Mr & Mrs Harold Carroll and boys and Mr & Mrs Mark Carroll and girls spent Memorial Day in Brigham City and Heber City. Mrs Harold Carroll visited with her girl friend in Heber, who she hadn't seen for seven years, who is Mrs Elouise Adam-so- n Buell. On June 1, a group of girls met at the home of Mrs' Theron Olsen and organized their club and chose a name for their club, "The Stitch Kids." Officers are as follows: Meril Lyn Smith as the pres ident; Gail Zabriski, vice president; Charlotte Olson as secretary; Anita Voeltz as organist; Kathleen Hickman as chorister, and Dianne Stevens as reporter. Other members besides officers are Anita Lar-se- n and Delores Kemp. Refreshments were served. Mrs Mary Dean of Crescent and her sister Mrs Archie Thompson of Salt Lake left Saturday for a 2 weeks visit with their sister, Mrs Peggy Langlois in St. Louis, Mo. Students from Crescent who took part in the Berrett School of Dance in "Your Dancing Dreams" on June 3 and 4 were the following: Paulett Sanders, Marilan Harrison, Alene Smith JoAnn Sampson, Sandra Olsen. RoLayne, Johnnie Hatch, Carol Lee Lannen, Cathlene Smith, Linda Kay Lunn-.n- , An,ta Larscn, Maril Lyn Smith, Jeanette Olsen. Lynda Fairbourn, and Delores Lunnen. At Blackfoot they attended the wedding and reception of Kenneth Jackman and Miss Son;a Davis. In Pocatello they visited with Mr & Mrs Charles FackrelL Mrs Jesse Nix, who spent a week at the Campbell home accompanied her daughter, Mrs Samuelsen, to their home Monday. Mrs Blaine Croxford entertained at a luncheon Tuesday. Guests g were her mother, Mrs Helene of Salt Lake, and her grandmother, Mrs Margaret Richards of Ny-ber- Chicago, m. Mr & Mrs Ellis Richardson and family have returned from a short trip to Los Angeles, Calif. Mr & Mrs Andrew L. Phillips recently visited relatives and friends in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Rigby, Ida. Mrs Rinth Johnson of Salt Lake spent last week with her sister and brother-in-law- , Mr & Mrs Sylvester Walker. Mr & Mrs George Jensen and daughter, Beth returned home Sunday after spending a vacation in California. They visited with Mr & Mrs C. E. Brown in North Hollywood and Mr St Mrs Orin Coulter in San Bernadino. Mrs Ellis Richardson and Mrs Sylvester Walker entertained at a party at the Walker home in honor of Mrs Armand Walker of Salt Lake. Thirty relatives enjoyed games and refreshments. Mr & Mrs Blaine Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mr St Mrs Eugene Croxford and Mr & Mrs were dinner Blaine Croxford guests Wednesday evening of Mr St Mrs Arthur Folwer in Salt Lake. Mr & Mrs Dellis Forbush has returned home after enjoying a y vacation to the Eastern States. They visited in Washington, D.C., and many places of interest including New York City. They made the trip by plane and returned by car. Terry Richardson is visiting with his aunt and uncle, Mr St Mrs Lynn Wolsleger in South Gate, Calif. Officers of the YMMIA of the Union Second ward entertained at a slumber party at the ward amusement hall Friday night. The guests came dressed as little girls. Prizes were awarded and games enjoyed. Bunnell, Mrs L. L. Morgan, Mrs Elvis Evans and Mrs C. C. Pingree. Highlights of the convention discussed were visual aids with consultation periods and ways and means of strenghtening the in the community. Granite Elder's Quorum and their partners enjoyed a jolly at the Rex Green home Saturday evening. A variety of games were featured and plenty of eats were served. Twenty people attended.
