No pleasanter automobile can be 'had anywhere In the hour spin required to reach tne limestone cave and its sparkling spring at the bridge seven miles from Eagle Oats. And the leisurely hiker requires but another two hours to reach the saddle through which the trail dips into the head of Hardscrabble canyon. Let those talk who will of the great aoenio and culling lands of the state at tha end of an expensive journey, but they who bava not become intimate with our own city creek are not ready to go far afield; and those who cannot reach the vacation lands toward the ends of the state need not lament until they have sought and found the treasures at the gate. Three little lakes come to life In the early spring, , as the snow recedes, but they soon dry up and disappear in ths quaking sspen flats far above the limestone hole. Over these flats the pioneers obtained the white, lightweight wood from which the older furniture makers built the chairs and beds and other household furniture.
