The Southern Pacific announces that new service to the Yosemite Valley In connection with the Yosemiie Valley Railroad company, will begin about March flrat next. The eighty-milstage ride will be done away with. The new road extends from Merced Falla to the boundary of Yosemiie National park, twelve miles from the comer of the valley. There over a turnpike, either aa automubile or stage Una will cqpvey passengers quickly to the hotel. Fifteen hundred men are now at work and the last nil will be laid by February 13th next. The new railway up the Merced river canyon la one of the scenic lines of the wurid. From Merced Fall to tha Park line la a continuous panorama e of magnificent canyon and river scenery.
