The Illinois Stale Farmer's Association concluded its annual session at Decatur last night, I after adopting a platform, of which i the following are the main points: They declare that ever' American voter vot-er should do all in ins power to secure se-cure the electiou of honest and coni-peii-ut men to office; that the farmers arc absolved from all allegiance to the old political parties; that the repeal re-peal of the salary-grab law should be retroactive; that lanre salaries are antagonistic an-tagonistic ' to republican principles: and llmt the civil service should be reformed. They favor improving the navigation of the lakes and rivers: oppose op-pose a protective tariff; deprecate t.ie system of subsidies: favor a legal tender ten-der currency, issued directly by gov-(jrnnn'nt, gov-(jrnnn'nt, and interchangable fur. Ujijis bearing the lowest possible rate of interest; demand a revision of the pnW nt laws; insist upon biennial ses-tion ses-tion of the Legislature; assert the right of the Suite Legislature to legislate legis-late lor the control of the railroads, and oppose any attempt of Congress to exercise such control.
