Predeployment Briefings, Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Mandatory briefing for active duty personnel getting ready to deploy for more than 30 days, as well as those with remote permanent change in station assignments. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend. Hearts Apart Care Package Event, Friday, March 11, 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. This event is for spouses and children of deployed military members, those on remote assignments, or on temporary duty more than 30 days. Relocations: Newcomers Orientation, Monday, March 14 and 28, 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (scheduled by 75th Force Support Squadron during base inprocessing) E-Sponsorship Training - Per Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center, effective April 1, the Electronic Sponsorship Application and Training (eSAT) will be the sole source for delivering sponsorship training. To access the training, you will need to register on the following website: http://apps.mhf.dod. mil/esat . There will be weekly training on eSAT at the Airman and Family Readiness Center during the months of March and April. Dates are still to be determined. Transition Assistance: Preseparation briefings, Tuesdays, March 1, 15 and 29, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and March 8 and 22, 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Congressionally mandated briefing for active duty personnel getting ready to separate or retire. Must attend briefing at least 90 days prior to separation or retirement date (some exceptions for short notice discharges). Highly recommend attendance six to 12 months prior to separation or retirement date. Attendance mandatory prior to Transition Assistance Program workshop. Military Family Life Consultant (MFLC): Transition Assistance Program Workshop, March 7-10 and 21-24, 8 a.m. -4 p.m. This four day program is designed to prepare military members and their families for transition to civilian employment. these classes will be offered in March, location, dates and times still to be determined. Halter tops, spaghetti straps are not permitted. Shirts should not contain inappropriate slogans or advertisements (examples include alcohol, tobbaco or sexually suggestive content). March 4, PreTeen Night In — Open recreation is open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for youth ages 9-12 to hang out. Free for members, S3 for nonmembers. March 11, Teen Night In — Open recreation is open from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for teens only. Members are free and nonmembers are $3. March 18, Dinner and a Play — Join Youth Programs as we go out to dinner at Golden Corral then to the Heritage Playhouse in Perry, Utah, to see the play, "The Secret Garden." Open to the first 20 youth to enroll, $18 for members, $20 for nonmembers. March 25, Skate Night — Youth Program has brand new skates and the coolest music to skate to, 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.. Visit healing fo dife.corn March 19, Give Parents A Break/Give Kids a Break — Open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., GPAB is free child care for active duty families who have a family member deployed and requires a referral from the Airman and Family Readiness Center and AF Form 1181. The Child Development Center cares for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age and the Youth Center cares for children kindergarten to 12 years. This activity is held the third Saturday of each month with alternating times. Please register before March 16. If space is available, GPAB will accommodate individuals without a referral for Parent's Night Out for $15. Fit Factor — Get up. Get out. Get fit! Judo — Grappling sport involving the use of a variety of techniques such as throwing, pinning, choking (13 years of age and older) and arm locks (17 years and older) to win. Competition available at all levels. Wednesdays and Fridays ages 5-18, $25 a month.
