C. from I'nro-' I'nro-' wan, who returned home last Saturday Satur-day and died yesterday morning. Tho cause of his death is gien ns.diabetis. Silas was a pleasant, jovial little fellow fel-low and was gencrnliy liked by all who know him. A gnmo of basket ball will be played this evening at the B. A. C. gym, between the Santa Clara team and a five from the Cedar City district dis-trict school. The youngsters nrc all snid to play fast ball and something quite exciting is promised those who attend. Thorloy and son Stewart left yesterday morning for their farm in the vicinity of Kelsey's to begin work again. They took down three loads of baled hay and other supplies to last their teams and crew of men for some time, and will nodoubt make a good showing the present spring. Pace is erecting a neat four room bungalow on "his fnrm beyond Hamilton's Fort, which will havo all tho modern conveniences, pretty near- , ly, that it i3 possible to incorporate into a home of this size, including hot and cold water, lavatory, bath, sink, etc. Mr. Pace believes in taking a few of tho comforts of town with him to tho farm, and living while out there not mereiy exisung us ao muuy of our farmer friends seem contont to do. A good live, public-spirited citizen, and one that wo congratulate ourselves our-selves upon obtaining, is Francis Mid-dleton. Mid-dleton. "Dick," as ho is comonly called, is not much of a hand to play to tho galleries, but when there is nny thing of a public nature to bo helped ho not only enters his name near tho top of tho list with a liberal subscription, but also frequently gives hours of time in circulating the list to others. Dick is a booster of the first water and is usually found on tho right side of tho question, barring politics, of course. Tho B. A. C. basket ball team left yesterday for Beaver, being taken over by David C. Bulloch's seven passenger pas-senger Buick car. Tho deciding gamo of tho Southern division of tho state is to bo played there tonight between Murdock and tho B. A. C. Judging from the gamo that was played at tho B. A. C. last Friday night between be-tween these same teams, it would appear ap-pear that tho Aggies had a walk-over, but ono can never tell. News of the outcome of tho gamo will be awaited with a great deal of interest.
